World Thinking Day is celebrated each year by Girl Scouts and Girl Guides all over the world. It helps to remind girls that they are all part of a global organization whose mission is to enable girls and young women to develop their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world. The 2012 World Thinking Day theme is “Together We Can Save Our Planet”. Troops are encouraged to be a booth exhibitor at the event, but must reserve their country choice by contacting Lori Williamson at lwilliamson@girlscoutsnebraska.org or 402.779.8239. International students at UNO also exhibit booths with information about their home countries. There will be hands on activities, speakers, games, dancers, presentations and more! NOTE: Walk-In registrations will be accepted but our capacity is limited to 500 per session. Walk-in cost is $8 per person and does not include a patch.
