Scouting for the Cure

Arrival/Departure Times: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Grade Level: Family Event

Fight Back Girl Scout – Wear your pink when we team up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation during a day of learning about breast health and breast cancer through a variety of fun, creative activities. We will be sewing pillows for breast cancer patients, trying out new, healthy exercises and honoring those survivors present, those who have passed on, and those who continue to fight the battle. Girls and troops will also be able to participate in a banner decorating contest which highlights breast health awareness. Bring all the women if your life to this event and you will each leave with a t-shirt that can be worn to other Susan G. Komen events throughout the year. Volunteers and speakers are needed.
