My Summer Place – Spring Lake
Mondays-Fridays, June 3-July 26, 2013 (Camp will be closed July 1-5)
Location: Spring Lake Magnet Center, Omaha
Arrival/Departure Times: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Grade Level: all girls entering grades 1-9
My Summer Place (MSP), a seven-week day camp, which meets Monday through Friday, June 3 – July 26 is open to all girls entering grades 1-9. Camp will be closed July 1-5. Sites are selected and developed as “safe places” where girls can learn new things while having fun during the summer.
MSP is structured so that girls are participating in activities with peers of the same age. It is designed to provide an experience that will be fun, engaging and memorable. Activities for summer 2013 may include field trips, swimming at community pools, Girl Scout adventures – such as the Journey series “it’s your story – tell it” – creating art and discovering nutrition and wellness.
