Ballet Nebraska “Curtain Up!”
Girl Scouts are invited to attend dance performances presented by Ballet Nebraska, Omaha’s professional ballet company, at special reduced ticket prices. Girl Scouts can also participate in special FREE workshops taught by Ballet Nebraska dancers.

Momentum (all new program!)
This year’s mixed repertory program includes an all new line-up of choreographers, featuring a diverse and exciting mix of ballets that will have you on the edge of your seat!

The Nutcracker
Ballet Nebraska’s fresh, lively, and thoroughly entertaining rendition of the holiday classic that is sure to become a favorite tradition in your family!

Alice in Wonderland
Travel down the rabbit hole with Alice as she explores Lewis Carroll’s enchantingly odd fantasy world!
When: Friday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 27 at 2 p.m.*

Workshops
Girl Scouts are invited to attend a special FREE workshop with Ballet Nebraska. No dance experience required. Girls will have the chance to meet a professional company dancer and learn dance steps from the show!
When: Nutcracker Workshop- Sunday, November 4 from 2-3 p.m.; Alice in Wonderland Workshop- Sunday, March 17 from 2-3 p.m.*
Where: Motion 41 Dance, 2819 S. 125 Ave., Omaha
Cost: FREE! Space is limited, must pre-register.
Registration: Pre-register by completing the online form. A troop leader may pre-register the entire group.
Recognitions: Girls attending a Ballet Nebraska performance and/or workshop may complete requirements toward earning dance or performance related recognitions such as the Brownie Badge: Dancer.
