Carrie Strope is a former Girl Scout and has been teaching glass classes to all ages for over five years. Learn to cut glass safely, fuse it or mosaic it and create art out of glass while having fun and earning badges!
Glass Fusing Classes
Girls can create fused glass jewelry, magnets, ornaments, sun catchers, plates and more. During class, we will cut glass and put it together to be fired in a kiln.
Glass Mosaic Classes
Girls can create picture frames, stepping stones, sun catchers or jewelry. Learn to create designs in glass. Depending upon the project and age group of girls, we’ll cut glass, glue it to the surface with a special fast drying glue and learn to grout all in the same day so the piece is ready to take home with you! If your troop wants to work on a collaborative installation piece, we can design and install a mosaic mural in a chosen location.

Who: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, Adults
When: Classes can be arranged to suit your schedule. Call or e-mail Carrie to discuss dates, times or projects for your troop.
Cost: $10-$25; depending upon project
Recognitions: Depending upon the project chosen, girls may be working towards a variety of art-related badge requirements.

Chaperones: Refer to Safety Activity Checkpoints. There must be one adult other than the instructor per 6 girls.
