Catholic Charities, one of the largest service providers in Nebraska, serves and advocates for Omaha and greater Nebraska’s voiceless, lost, hungry, addicted, abused and forgotten people through our many services, whether they are faced with domestic violence, mental illness, substance abuse, unplanned pregnancy or other emergency situations. Our services provide sanctuary in times of overwhelming hardship, while opening doors for promising futures.

Service Projects

Troops or individual scouts may contact us for possible service projects, such as collecting needed items for our domestic violence shelter, children’s centers, food pantries, or playing/reading with the children, or making items that our clients can use. Use your imagination!

Speakers

Troops can invite speakers to teach them about such things as helping the poor, starting a business, healthy relationships, teen addiction/recovery, adoption, teen pregnancy, immigration legal assistance, family programs, and more. We are experts and we want to share that knowledge with you!
