Girl Scouts Backpacks
The backpack has everything you need to explore the forest!
Where: Fontenelle Forest Nature Center, 1111 N. Bellevue Blvd., Bellevue
Cost: $45 per backpack
Capacity: 20 people total: scouts and adults
Recognitions: Brownie Try-It-Animal or Eco-Explorer; Junior Badge-Earth Connections or Wildlife
Astronomy Programs
Explore the night sky at the Millard Observatory.
When: Sept-May: Friday evenings. Please call for specific dates
Where: Neale Woods Nature Center, 14323 Edith Marie Ave., Omaha
Cost: $9/scout; one adult per scout free. Come-a-longs are not allowed.
Capacity: Maximum 15
Recognitions: Brownie Try-It-Space Explorer or Junior Badge-Sky Search
Worlds in Water
Dive into the wet and wild side of Fontenelle Forest! We’ll use nets and buckets to investigate a wetland ecosystem.
When: A Saturday in May—please call for the date (9:30 – 11:30 a.m.)
Where: Fontenelle Forest Wetlands Learning Center, 103 Camp Gifford Rd., Bellevue
Cost: $10/scout; one adult per scout free. Come-a-longs are not allowed.
Capacity: Minimum 10, Maximum 40
Recognitions: Brownie Try-It-Water Everywhere or Junior Badge-Water Wonders

Register: Advance registration required. Call the Girl Scouts Registrar at 402.731.3140. Submit payment at least two weeks prior to your program: Fontenelle Nature Association, 1111 N. Bellevue Blvd, Bellevue, NE 68005.
Refunds: No refunds unless FNA cancels due to weather.
