Nebraska ATA Martial Arts, powered by Master Kassebaum’s ATA, have several programs for a variety of purposes, ranging from basic martial arts, to self defense, to esteem and life skills building and more. We are dedicated to enhancing your physical capabilities and maximizing your self-defense skills. Check out our three new class for the 2010/2011 school year.

Kidz ‘N Power™ Stranger Safety

Simple Break Away Self-Defense Instruction, Role Playing with Possible Stranger Dangers; Child Abduction Safety Tips

Kidz ‘N Power™ Stranger Safety II

For troops where the majority of girls took the first class. This class is still appropriate for first timers also. This class will review concepts from the first class and includes additional new Break Away Self-Defense drills, Role Playing with Possible Stranger Dangers, Child Abduction Safety Tips.

Kids Confidence Class

Will a child lead or follow? Confidence is the key. Martial arts are unlike any other sport. While all sports can provide physical fitness and an outlet for positive energy, Martial arts from ATA will give kids a foundation for developing Discipline and Self-esteem. This class will introduce kids to high energy martial arts confidence building drills, learn how to carry your self and develop a YES I CAN Attitude!

Bully Prevention Class

This class will deliver the latest research and newest thinking on Bullying Prevention, from the world’s foremost authority on Bullying Prevention, The Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. Kids will walk away with actionable steps to take right now to deal with destructive bullying. You can’t afford to miss this seminar, because many of our old notions about bullying are just plain wrong.

Cost: $12 per girl includes one-hour instruction, Kidz ‘N Power™ program and personal safety badge. Adults are welcome and encouraged to stay and participate.
