Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo
Campout
Bring your group down for a fun filled evening to see the Zoo in a whole new light. Activities include: animal-themed games, a guided hike and zoo admission for the following day.
Who: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, Adults
When: Campouts are booked by reservation starting on January 3rd. The season runs from March until November
Where: Locations to camp include: Scott Aquarium, Expedition Madagascar, the Wild Kingdom Pavilion, Gorilla Valley, and the Kingdoms of the Night (lobby of Desert Dome). If you bring tents you could sleep in the Lied Jungle, Bear Canyon, or at the Sea Lion Pavilion.

Capacity: 25 person minimum to book a building,

Wildlife Safari Campouts
Tents, campfire, smores, a guided hike, a continental breakfast and an up close animal encounter are all included.
Who: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, Adults
Where: Located off of exit 426 of I-80.
Cost: $25 per person.
Capacity: Minimum of 10
Daisy and Brownie Scout Classes
Choose from Animals and Nature, Natural Environment or Soil and Water Conservation*
When: Booked by appointment on Saturdays or Sundays at either 10am or 2pm.
Cost: $12 per person. For every 5 scouts 1 adult is free. Venue (safari or zoo) admission is included in the cost.
Capacity: Minimum of 5 scouts to make a reservation.
Junior Scout Classes
Junior scout classes are only offered at the Wildlife Safari located off exit 426 on I-80.*
Choose from Rocks Rock, Wildlife, Earth Connections or Your Outdoor Surroundings
When: Booked by appointment on Saturdays or Sundays at either 10am or 2pm. These classes are not offered during winter months.
Cost: $12 per person. For every 5 scouts 1 adult is free. Wildlife Safari admission is included in the cost.
Capacity: Minimum of 5 scouts to make a reservation.
Cadette and Senior Scout Classes
Choose from Sea to Shore, Eco-Action, Wildlife or
All About Birds*
When: Booked by appointment on Saturdays or Sundays at either 10am or 2pm.
Cost: $12 per person. For every 5 scouts 1 adult is free. Venue (safari or zoo) admission is included in cost.
Capacity: Minimum of 5 scouts to make a reservation.
