‘Paint Your Own Pottery & Mosaics Studio’
Whether it’s a field trip for fun or a workshop to fulfill or work towards badge requirements, ‘That Pottery Place’ offers a variety of creative options.
Ceramic Painting
Paint your own pottery is a fun and easy way to create personalized treasures. We provide all of the tools for the girls to design and paint a masterpiece. We will clear glaze and fire their food safe pieces ready for pick-up in one week. Great for gift giving.
Capacity: Minimum 6.
Clay Hand Building
Total muddy fun! There will be instruction in hand building with wet clay. The girls will hand build and paint their original piece of art in one session. In 10 days, return to pickup
your piece.
Capacity: Minimum 8.
Mosaic Workshop
In this no grout mosaic workshop the girls will first paint their frame, then apply fun glass chips and gems in their own creative design. These colorful frames are taken home the same day.
Capacity: Minimum 8.
Glass Fusing
The girls will learn the basics in glass fusing. They will assemble a colorful pendant, suncatcher or nightlight using bits of glass pieces in their own design. We will fuse the works of art in our kiln and they will be ready for pick up in one week.
Capacity: Minimum 8.
Notes: Girls must be at least 8 years old for this class.
Paint a Flower Plate or Bank
Perfect for Daisies, the girls will enjoy painting a Bank or Plate in the shape of a flower. 3 Weeks notice for this class.
Who: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors
Recognitions: Depending on the workshop chosen, girls may be working towards the following recognitions. Brownie Try-It-Art to Wear; Junior Badges- Jewelry Maker, Art in 3-D, Ceramics & Clay, Cadette, Senior & Ambassador Interest Projects-Artistic Crafts
When: Girl Scout workshops can be scheduled anytime during our regular studio hours, subject to availability. Workshops average 1 ½ hours.

Cost: Workshops start at $8.25 plus tax and vary according to the workshop chosen. Please call for pricing.
