A Horse Jumping Competition
Earn your animal badge at this unique International caliber equestrian show jumping competition. Enjoy world-class horses, shopping, food and amazing interactive displays for the whole family. More then a badge, this is an exciting event you won’t want to miss!
The International will have an interactive series of educational stations and displays that cover a variety of topics. The exhibits are designed for very young children through teenagers so families of all ages can enjoy the experience while learning more about the world of horses.
Who: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, Adults
When: Friday, April 11 through Saturday, April 13, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. both days
Cost: No cost between 9:00 a.m. -6:30 pm for both days. During this time you can experience daytime competitions and interact with the all of the exhibits. Purchase of tickets will be needed for the evening competitions 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Come to the evening sporting event so you can experience professional athletes and their horses in a competition unlike anything you’ve ever seen in the Midwest…it’s all about speed, execution and the competitive spirit of both rider and horse. Fast-paced and fun for the entire family…you’ll see show jumpers racing over beautifully decorated obstacles and witness as these men and women compete against each other.
Recognitions: By attending The International or participating in the exhibits, girls may complete some requirements of animal-related badges.
Capacity: No minimum required…sign up as an individual or with your troop!
