Oil Up Workshop
During this session, girls will see what oil spills are like and the impact that they have upon the environment and its inhabitants.

Water Wonders Workshop
Juniors will learn about the water cycle, the influence it has on the world, as well as its sources.

Science Sleuths Workshop
Junior girls learn the art of papermaking or see the workings of different, simple machines.

Make lt Matter Workshop
The girls learn the chemical fundamentals of different acids and bases or they can learn about the structures of bridges, as well as other large structures.

Your Outdoor Surroundings-Reptiles!
The girls learn about an outdoor activity that has become a lifelong hobby – reptiles. The woman speaker has made a career mostly based on the great outdoors and loves reptiles!

Reptiles or lnsects in Our World
Learn from a woman scientist. Explore the world of reptiles or entomology (study of insects) with hands-on experiences with snakes or bugs! You will act like a scientist!

Information for All Programs
When: Staff may be scheduled for your meetings during the day and after school. Choose more than one potential date to allow for flexibility. All start times must be 4 p.m. or earlier. No evenings.
Where: Staff can attend your meeting site in the Omaha area or arrangements can be made to meet at the UNL Douglas/Sarpy Extension central office, 8015 W. Center Road, Omaha
Cost: $2 per girl (each session) with a minimum of $30 per session; adults are welcome and encouraged to stay and participate
Registration: Call 402.444.7804 to schedule an activity. Ask to speak to a member of the 4-H staff. Registrations should be made at least two weeks in advance.
Chaperones: Follow Safety-Wise guidelines.
