Time Capsules

Looking Forward to the Next 100 Years

This summer, we are collecting items for Time Capsules at four of our camp locations. Each Time Capsule will contain photos of girls who attend camp this summer, news clippings, magazine articles and general items-of-the day.

Girls are asked to bring SWAPS to include in the capsules when they are at any one of four camp locations: Camp Cosmo, Catron Camp and Retreat Center, Camp Maha and Camp Crossed Arrows.

There will be a special burial ceremony at the end of the 2012 camp season and messages will be left for future Girl Scouts who attend camp to open the Time Capsules in 20 years (2032).
