Hilltop House

Coming to Lincoln in 2013

Construction has begun on a new Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska education center called Hilltop House. The nearly 2,200 sq ft Hilltop House, which sits upon 32 acres of mixed prairie grass, is being built just northwest of 14^th and Superior Street. The building will provide facilities for both indoor and outdoor Girl Scout programming with classrooms, office and storage space, indoor bathrooms and a partial basement should there be inclement weather while girls are visiting the center.  Hilltop House will also feature a covered patio and a fire ring where Girl Scout traditions such as singing-around-the-campfire and eating s’mores will be performed.
