Information for Girls, Troops and Volunteers

Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska wants troops to design their future with the 2010 Fall Product Program. This exciting program helps girls learn skills like goal setting, leadership, communication and teamwork, while providing troops funds to start the year. All proceeds will support Girl Scouts in our council. The money earned will allow girls to take trips, finance troop activities, attend camp and perform community service projects.

The 2010 Fall Product Program is for friends and family and offers two (2) incredible product lines; nut and candy products and magazines. Troops may choose to sell one or both of the product lines.

With the 2010 Fall Product Program girls can offer magazine sales to their friends and family. Troops earn more profit and girls investigate online and direct mail sales opportunities.

There are two ways for girls to invite friends and family to order/renew magazine subscriptions through Girl Scouts:  1. Complete an address booklet.  2. Complete an online learning activity and submit e-mail addresses.

QSP/Time Inc. guarantees that no names appear on a mailing list or e-mail database!

Here is how it works:

Girls complete an ‘address booklet’ with the names and addresses of 10 friends/family. After the first of the year, these individuals will receive a packet in the mail from QSP/Time Inc., detailing how they can order/renew their favorite magazines. Troops earn $3.00 for each completed address book (limit ONE address booklet per girl).

Friends and family can also place online subscriptions to support their favorite Girl Scout and her troop. Girls complete an online learning activity and provide 12 (or more) valid e-mail addresses via a secure website specifically for Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska. These individuals receive an e-mail from QSP/Time Inc. detailing how they can order/renew their favorite magazines online. Troops receive 10% of the selling price for each subscription ordered online before October 14, 2010. Girls earn additional cumulative recognitions for online magazine sales.
