Cookie Program

Spirit of Nebraska Cookie Program
The first recorded sale was in 1917 when an industrious troop in Oklahoma baked and sold cookies in a high school cafeteria. Times have really changed. The nationwide Girl Scout Cookie Program now constitutes a sales force of 2.8 million enthusiastic girls, raises more than $700 million (that’s 200,000,000 boxes!) and funds programs for Girl Scout troops all across America.
The overwhelming success of cookie sales throughout history demonstrates that people believe in Girl Scouts and its mission. In fact, the number one reason people buy Girl Scout Cookies is because they want to support the organization and the girls.
ALL of the proceeds of the Spirit of Nebraska Cookie Program remain in the state to support girls in our communities.
Cookies will go on sale again in January, 2011. Check back for more information soon.
