Support Girl Scout Artists

Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska provides programs to our members that are focused on culture and the arts. artVenture is one such program. Girls are given the opportunity to work closely with local artists in the artists studios. This collaborative pairing teaches girls about a specific medium teaches them to create works of art, from conception to completion. The art is then auctioned off at a fundraising event, where “girl art” is on display right beside the work done by professionals.

In 2011, over 1,200 people attended and bid on the art at artVenture events across Nebraska. Girls, parents and community art enthusiasts enjoyed an evening of the arts at one of four artVenture Auction fundraising events. All proceeds support Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska programs.
